Diplomats & Fugitives Available Everywhere and Dragon Blood 6 on Pre-Order

For fans of my Emperor’s Edge series, a new installment, Diplomats & Fugitives, is out now. It takes place a few months after the events in Republic and brings Basilard in as a main character, though of course Maldynado and his hats are there. Amaranthe and Sicarius come in for the second half, too, and we get some updates on most of the rest of the crew.

You can check out the blurb and grab a sample at Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Kobo, iBooks, and Smashwords.

Raptor-Cover-WebIn other news, the break I was planning to take after the last Dragon Blood book did not happen. I had more ideas bouncing around in my head, and I’ve already written a novella with Captain Kaika as the star (along with someone else… care to guess?) and sent it off to my beta readers. Look for that at the end of September.

I’m also about halfway through the rough draft of a sixth novel in the series, this one picking up with Cas as the lead, but also bringing in all of the other characters again. We’ll have Cas, Tolemek, Ridge, and Sardelle all as point-of-view characters. And for those who have been wanting to see more of Tylie and her dragon, they’ll both be along for the adventure.

I have the cover art for Book 6 already, so I’ve put it up as a pre-order. If you want to get the book the minute it’s released, you can order your copy at Amazon, iBooks, Kobo, and Barnes & Noble.

Lastly, the pen name has a new space adventure romance serial going right now on Amazon (free to Kindle Unlimited subscribers). Check it out if you’re looking for a story with some extra naught bits. 😉

Another book in the Emperor’s Edge series? OMG I’M SO EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!

  2. McAlvie says:

I enjoyed Diplomats and Fugitives very much, thank you! I was surprised to see it pop up for Kindle because you seemed to have wrapped that series up very nicely, but it was great fun to spend time with those old friends again.

Anything coming up soon re Rust & Relics? You really hooked me with those, and I’m looking forward to the gang’s next adventure.

  3. Doug says:

All of your series are great but I keep hoping to hear that Book 2 of the Chains of Honor series will be coming out soon. Any eta on when that will happen?

    • Lindsay says:

Hi, Doug! I had intended to get back to Yanko’s adventures sooner, but I’ve been having a lot of fun with the Dragon Blood books this year, so am finishing up that series this fall. Look for the second CoH book in early 2016. Thanks!

Thank you so much for another Emperor’s Edge book! I love these guys and miss them! I need to read them again, yay amaranthe and sicarius! ok, and maldonaldo’s hats too!!!

  5. Jackie Watts says:

Hi Lindsay, I have read Dragon’s Blood books 1 to 5 and I am eagerly awaiting book 6.
I have also read The Emporer’s Edge book 1 to 9 and I was so sorry to see them come to an end. I lived with those characters and I believe there are still stories to be told.
I am now starting on your short stories of Amaranthe and Sicarius.
I love that there is no explicit sex in your books, and I will be reading others when I have exhausted the Emporer’s Edge shorts.
    Please keep them coming :o)
    Jackie

    • Lindsay says:

I’m glad you’ve enjoyed the adventures, Jackie! I just published a new DB novella, and Book 6 will be out at the end of October. Thanks for reading!

  6. Tina says:

I have throughly enjoyed reading your books. I started with Encrypted/Decrypted, then EE, Dragons Blood, Swords and Salt, and I am now devouring Rust and relics. I was thinking after reading Diplomats and Fugitives that I would love a short story on Amaranth and Sicarius finding their apartment. I imagine Sicarius rejecting many because they are not “secure.” I can’t wait for more!

    • Lindsay says:

I’m glad you’ve been enjoying the books, Tina! I could see Sicarius as a fussy apartment shopper. He and Amaranthe would make a strange couple on House Hunters. 😉

  7. Tiffany says:

Love your books but would love to have more audiobook version
