Emperor’s Edge Audiobooks (1-3) Available at Audible, iTunes, and Podiobooks

I know I’ve made various announcements about the EE3 audiobook on Twitter and Facebook, but I’m not sure I ever made it official by posting links here. The first three books in the Emperor’s Edge series are available for free as podcasts (each chapter is an episode) at Podiobooks and through Apple’s iTunes (scroll to the bottom for the audio versions). If you think you’d like to keep the audiobooks forever (or prefer to listen to them straight through, without intros and outros on each chapter), you can buy the complete files at Audible too.

The fourth audiobook is in the works now and might be ready in the spring sometime. (I’m learning not to put dates on these, since I have very little control over when they’re done!)

Thank you to everyone who helped out with my Kickstarter campaign last year and funded these projects. Most of the goodies (paperbacks and links to download the audiobooks) have been sent out, though I still need to finish the vignettes to send to everyone and include in the USB packages. Feel free to email me if you’re missing anything.

Thanks for reading listening!

Hi there! I see you said that the fourth book was in works for audio, but that was back in January. Any updates there?

    Hi
When will the Conspiracy audio book be available ?, its atleast 2 years late.

    • Lindsay says:

Heya, Peterv. I’m afraid the answer is I don’t know. I’d like to do them someday, but I haven’t made any money off the first three audiobooks, since they’re out there for free. It costs thousands to have audiobooks made, and I can’t really justify continuing on. Also, the narrator, Starla, didn’t have time to continue on, so that threw an extra wrench in there.

Would you be up for putting a go-fund-me or Patreon together so that fans can help contribute to this effort?

        I would contribute happily.

I have listened to your first three several times!!!

        Starla does a fantastic job.

Thanks, Deb! Starla got busy with other projects, so I’d have to go with a different narrator. I do hope to get the series out there on Audible one day. 🙂

I have recently discovered your books but do most of my reading using audible. I have been very dissappointmed to get into a series only to find I can’t access anymore on audio. I have read that you are struggling with funding this and am confused as to why you are charging little to nothing. I would have happily spend full price for all your books and extra for the audio. Just food for thought.

          Hi Jean,

Someone else produced the EE audiobooks, and I actually haven’t seen any money from them in years. I’ll look into it eventually and probably redo them on my own and finish out the series — I’m doing my Rust & Relics series now as a trial. Also, if you’d like to check out the Dragon Blood books, Podium Publishing is producing them. The first three books are available in one audiobooks.

          Thanks for listening!
