Urban fantasy fans, if you’ve been waiting for my Legacy of Magic series to be complete before starting it, you can now jump in. I’ve just published the eighth novel (Cursed) and don’t have plans to write more with Matti as the main character. It’s always possible that will change, but I’ve set things up for a spinoff series (yes, LoM was already a spinoff of Death Before Dragons :D) and am turning my focus to that for the fall.
It’s been a busy year for me, with a dog surgery and more chaos to come, so I’m enjoying the relative ease of writing in the dragon-filled Seattle area in an already established world. I hope you will continue to enjoy these adventures. Don’t worry. I definitely have plans to return to high fantasy and space opera in the future.
For now, the Legacy of Magic series in ebook form is exclusive to Amazon. The audiobooks are not exclusive and can be found on Barnes & Noble, Google Play, Kobo, Audible, and other stores. One day, LoM and DBD will also be available in ebook form everywhere (if you didn’t notice, I’ve just made my Star Kingdom and Dragon Gate series available on all the platforms).

I LOVED both series so I’m totally here for spin off of a spin off! If it is a comfort write all the better.

would like to see some half elf quarter dwarf quarter human kids runng rampit with half dragon quater elf quarter human kids. I think that would be so cool. There would be more of matti and Varlesh, and Val and her dragon ( HAPPY MEAT CUBES.).
Over the last two months I discovered ‘Hammered’ thanks to a FB ad, promptly devoured the whole Legacy of Magic series, went back to dive into your Death Before Dragons series, reread LoM, and am contemplating whether to reread DBD too or to start exploring some of your other series. I am delighted to hear that you will continue expanding this Pacific Northwest+dragons world, and I eagerly look forward to the sleep I will lose once your next book is released! 😆

I keep hoping one day you will create a new spin off in the Dragon Blood / Heritage of Power series. The Heritage series ended with a lot of open thread that would be perfect for an spin off.
Loved this book and I’m here for the spinoff to the spinoff. I don’t usually read this genre, but yours are the only ones that have kept me interested. Started with LoM, then realized there was a series before so I stopped and started DBD. Loved both even though Matti and Sarrlevi, aka Sven, are my favorites. Can’t wait to see what Arwen and Starblade are up to!
