Storm Forged (Death Before Dragons, Book 6) Is Available!

The latest Death Before Dragons adventure, Storm Forged, is out on Amazon and ready for your reading pleasure.

Moving into a rundown Victorian house with a vampire living in the basement isn’t as bad as I thought, but things go from weird to weirder when a badly injured gnome collapses in my back yard.

The surprising part? It’s my friend Nin’s long-lost grandfather.

Since he’s unconscious, we can’t figure out who’s chasing him, or where he’s been all these years, but if we can’t help him, he’ll die.

To make matters worse, there’s a new dragon in town. A female dragon. Everyone knows females are more dangerous than the males, and this one takes an instant dislike to me. It seems that she wants to date my mate, Zav, and has his mother’s approval.

If I can’t avoid her wrath and find a way to cure the gnome, Nin’s going to lose her grandfather, and I’m going to end up deader than the vampire in the basement.

This series is exclusive with Amazon for now, but I will take it out of that program at a future date, and it will be available everywhere (the paperbacks and audiobooks are already available in other stores).

As a reminder, if you want to get all of my books and prefer to get them early and straight from me (before they go into Amazon’s exclusivity program), you can subscribe to my Patreon page. You only get charged when I have a new release, and if you get them there, there’s no need to buy them from the store.

What’s next?

I’m switching over to my science fiction after this to release the last installment in the Star Kingdom series in September, but if you want me to return and write more with Val and Zav, let me know. Book 6 wraps up quite a few story points, but there’s also more I could explore in the series.

Thanks for following along with my books!

Just finished #6 and loved it. I’ll second the request for more Val and Zav! Looking forward to the Star Kingdom book in September. I’m sad to see it is the last book in the series. Star Kingdom is one of my favorite SF series in the 60+ years I’ve been reading Science Fiction. I hope we haven’t seen the last of the Star Kingdom universe.

Death Before Dragons is one of my favorite series of yours, and I have read almost everything you have written. I would love more Val and Zav, too, and more about Nin and her family, about how Dimitri’s Café (haha) is doing, more about Val’s half-sister and about Colonel Williard and her would-be suitor…

  5. ben says:

Yes please writ more books. This series is so much fun. And I want to see what happens with willard and the marsupial lion.

  6. Priyanka Kumar says:

Yes please to more Val & Zav!! Love this series🥰!!

  7. Chris Bowman-Prideaux says:

I have enjoyed this series immensely. I love the wit and sarcastic snark in this series. In future books, I would love to see how Val’s relationship with her mother, daughter, father, and half-sister develops. Val’s efforts to help save goblins, give the young troll a job, free vampires, and the potential working relationship she suggested between the Dimitri and the half-troll from an earlier book give her ways to help change the magical community’s opinion of her. Of course, her relationship with Zav, and the potential for Zav’s mom to extend the reach of the Dragon Court to Earth would provide an interesting potential conflict with that potential shift to a person that the magical community looks upon favorably. The tantalizing hints of Val’s sword being forged by a dwarf as a dragon killer is another thing I would love to see explored.

  8. Juanita Gutierrez says:

Yes, would like to read/listen to more of Val and Zav. Also more on Nin and her family. How Val’s relationship with mother and daughter role out. Willard and her Dr., will something happen there…

  10. Kat says:

When will the audiobook be out?

  11. p. oshel says:

Yes, more in the “Death Before Dragons” world.
Not only Val & Zav – like Val exploring her abilities and learning the sword, but stories with other characters. Something about Sindari set on Del’Noth, for instance.
You’ve created a large universe with this series, it needs exploration.

  12. Amanda Shelton says:

Most definitely more Val and Zac and their merry band of misfits! I love this series and I love it’s such a long series so far! I really like it when an author takes their time in building the world, the why’s behind it and how it all all comes together in the current situations.

  13. Jamie Friedlander says:

Please more of the death by dragon series. When will book 6 be available in audiobooks?
